剧情介绍
马华力是一名机智聪明的职业赌徒，为人风流倜傥。他闻听一场巨额的扑克牌大赛即将举行，于是四出参加大小牌局以集赌资。在某次牌局中，他邂逅了美艳狡猾的安妮，二人不但在感情上尔虞我诈，在赌桌上更是各不相让，最后马华力凭着智勇及技巧，赢得了安妮芳心，亦顺利在赌桌上胜出。不过，这笔巨额奖金竟不翼而飞……Maverick is recreated from the character James Garner created in the 1950s TV program. Maverick is a gambler who would rather con someone than fight them. He needs an additional three thousand dollars in order to enter a Winner Take All poker game that begins in a few days. He tries to win some, tries to collect a few debts, and recover a little loot for the reward, all with a light hearted air. He joins forces with a woman gambler with a marvelous, though fake, southern accent as the two both try and enter the game.
