Plot Summary:For many years, Nadja has worked as a housekeeper for an upper class Greek couple and their daughter. She is allowed to feel like part of the family. When she is diagnosed with a serious illness, and the man of the house runs into financial difficulties due to the economic crisis, Nadja loses her job.
Nadja是从格鲁吉亚来到希腊的移民，十几年来一直在一户人家的豪宅担当全职管家，工作任劳任怨从不怠慢，深得雇主好评。一天Nadja忽然发现自己得了严重的基底神经节退化疾病，与此同时，随着国内经济危机的加剧，男主人的公司也出现了严重的亏损，他们决定辞退Nadja，女主人先是和丈夫争论，认为应该帮助Nadja治病，但是最后只用现金和一辆车就要把她打发走。Nadja拒绝了前主人的赠予，带着为止的命运离开了。
