Plot Summary:As a result of the shooting, a 38-year-old operative of the Interior Ministry's investigation department, Sergey Nikonov, receives a severe spinal injury. His legs are paralyzed and he can only move in a wheelchair. To distract himself from his personal tragedy and cope with depression, Sergei arranges at his apartment an informal department for the investigation of crimes.
