Plot Summary:Set in March, 1945 during the battle known as "The last great killing ground in the west", RHINELAND tells the story of a young replacement thrown into an under-strength mine platoon. A burned-out lieutenant and a bitter sergeant are his only guides as he struggles to come to terms with the brutality of war during the final bloody months of World War II.
1945年2月，盟军把战线推进到德国边境的莱茵兰，德军妄图凭借莱茵河据守，双方展开了拉锯战。就在此时，一群反坦克兵奉命奔赴前线，其中就有胆小如鼠的梅尔。刚到前线，他们就被调进了地雷排，梅尔等人百思不得其解，更离谱的是，他们成了万能贴，哪里需要就贴哪里。在一次抓舌头的行动中，他们误入狼窝，只有六个人的地雷排将何去何从？
