Plot Summary:Although it looks like a kid's movie on the face, it has a very deep meaning in it, touching the topics of environment, man's relation with the nature, education, andha-shraddha and more. The ghost in the movie, "Bhutya" (superbly playede by Nana Patekar), is actually a vaidu (ayurvedic doctor) who is forced to run away from the village he is living in.(that side story of the vaidu and his family is also a very emotional one and very nicely edited). The Bhutya then decides to stay in the jungle besides the "Mangalpada" village, in which lives our hero, the boy Chikhalu (nicely portrayed by Sakshak Kulakarni). A specific incident causes Chikhalu to meet Bhutya and then begins the story of transformation of the kid. When Bhutya transforms the boy from a mischievous kid to a sincere student, the movie underlines the importance of education (not just education restricted to the 4 walls of the school but an overall education that builds character of a student and imparts thorough knowledge...
