The program includes footage of rehearsals and performances with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, as well as statements from friends and colleagues including Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez, and Maximilian Schell.
