Plot Summary:When Dad brings Jacob to spend summer in the suburb, the boy not only discovers an environment he has never seen before, but he also makes friends with his cousin "know-it-all" Mimmi, and his uncle Eagle, a former seaman. On top of that he meets Boss, the leader of a pack of talking dogs. Will the unexpected friends - Jacob, Mimmi and the talking dogs - be brave enough to rescue the suburb from the rich Lord Pie who plans to convert the romantic place into impersonal glass skyscraper area?
梦想成为和爸爸一样的建筑师，来自城市的小男孩雅各布，前往郊外一座历史古镇的表姐家度假。小镇的建筑对他而言虽说是前所未见，可也不如都市里的时髦与气派。然而，当邻近的公园即将被贪婪的商人夷为平地，改建成高耸入云的摩天大楼时，雅各布与他的「万事通」表姐决定挺身而出，阻止这个建案，而他们唯一能仰赖的后援大队，就是公园里一群会说话的狗儿们！
