Plot Summary:Crooner Rudy Vallee, a lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, leads the Coast Guard band of the 11th naval district in several songs at various venues, including a Navy Day celebration at the Hollywood Bowl. Songs celebrate the Coast Guard, the U.S. Marines, and various branches of the U.S. Navy. As the songs are played, the audience sees footage of maneuvers, battles, sailors boarding ship, and other scenes.
