Plot Summary:Don Juan, pursued by the Justice, is finally pardoned and returns to his natal city Seville leaving Venice. He finds his father has died and has left him a condition to inherit his fortune : to marry Doña Inés and lead an honorable life. He will not hesitate to figure out a plot to get the money, while he continues seducing women and dueling with rivals. He will not hesitate either to make love and lie to virtuous Inés -at first.
