Plot Summary:Entering a house to borrow the phone, a crime writer finds a murdered man and is knocked out. The police calls it suicide. A boy helps him investigate.
The whodunit author Peter Sander runs out of gas on a stormy night and soon gets entangled in his own real-life murder mystery. With the aid of the precocious young boy John Lindberg, he sets out to discover who killed the elderly hermit and left him in an abandoned farm house.
