Ethiopia,1960. The Greek community. Isavella grows up like a princess under the roof of her father, a powerful figure in local society. At her eighteenth birthday party she is approached by Dimitris, who comes from the Greek community of southern Ethiopia. Tongues start wagging in the conservative local society. Dimitris proposes that they elope but with the agreement that he won’t even touch her hand until she wants him to. She remains trapped, almost cold. But all their plans fall through.
