Plot Summary:Gilles Mauvoisin, the only descendant of his late uncle Octave, inherits his entire fortune. Uncle Octave was poisoned with arsenic and suspicion focused immediately on his widow, Colette Mauvoisin. But Gilles doubts about her guilt and conducts his own investigation.
