Plot Summary:Emma is 16 years old. His mother is mean. So she transforms her into a romantic and loving heroine in a 19th century Victorian. Emma falls in love with a boy her age. So she dreams of him as a prince charming who takes him on his scooter to Tangier to propose to her. The boy his age has a girlfriend. So Emma imagines the rival raped by a strange creature in a deserted construction site. Emma lives in his head, consumed by fantasies. She needs to grow up, and fast. The Nights of Sister Welsh is this initiatory journey, this passage where dream and reality must unravel. To live, finally.
