Plot Summary:In an outdoor courtyard at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Ray Kinney and His Orchestra perform a five song set of Hawaiian music in concert. Kinney does double duty as conductor and lead vocalist. In the first two numbers, they are backed up by The Aloha Maids dancing the hula. The third number, a novelty piece about a cockeyed mayor, is accompanied by a comic interpretive dance by Pualani Mossman. A love song to old Hawaii, the penultimate number, is set against an imagining of two lovers by a reflecting pool. The Maids are back for the final upbeat number, a war chant.
