Plot Summary:The Surgeon Steffen is innocently accused of the murders of women that have taken place in the city in recent months. Attempts to clear his identity are hampered by the fact that he has recently been sitting and watching his colleague Katharina from a distance in her home. To put everything right, he takes the police's talkative psychologist hostage and sets out in search of the killer.
