Plot Summary:Young people all over the country, winners of various competitions, are the beneficiaries of a rewarding cruise on the Danube. Opportunity to confront some mentalities. At each moment they are subjected to educational pressure, from which they escape through irony and intelligence. It is the metaphor of the communist system of new man's formation and the precariousness of this notion. A cruise designed to serve as a prize turns into a cruise-punishment, a social act of coercion that is not even aware of itself.
The best workers from various factories in the communist system are rewarded a cruise on the Danube. The people in charge fight for bureaucratic reasons while the young ones are looking for adventure.
