Plot Summary:Musashi returns Japan's legendary swordsman and philosopher to the screen once again. In an original period drama based on the historical facts of the life and travels of the famous Miyamoto Musashi we find an apprentice, an instructor and the account of a famous battle in Japan of the Middle Ages where many questions will be answered.
俳優の細田善彦が映画初主演を果たし、松平健と共演する「武蔵 むさし」が、2019年初夏に公開されることが決定。「蠢動 しゅんどう」の三上康雄監督がメガホンをとる。 映画は、三上監督が脚本・製作を兼ねた、宮本武蔵の史実に基づくオリジナル本格時代劇。孤高の若き剣豪・武蔵と足利将軍家の兵法で師範を務めた剣法の名門・吉岡一門、鎖鎌使いの宍戸、槍使いの奥蔵院道栄、そして老境に達し剣を極めた佐々木小次郎の戦いを群像劇として描く。武蔵を細田、小次郎を松平が演じる。
