Plot Summary:Jojo, a 17-year-old girl from Bangkok, is about to graduate from high school. After her friend Q reveals a secret to her, the two girls grow close and spend all their time together. Jojo's father wholeheartedly approves of the friendship and is just glad that Jojo is not going on any dates with boys. But there's a storm cloud on the horizon. After entering university, Jojo meets Jeff and they begin dating-a decision that jeopardizes Jojo's relationship with Q.
Narrated by fictional character JoJo, #BKKY is based on interviews with 100 Thai teenagers who represent a diverse range of gender identities. The film shares their experiences and attitudes toward social life in Bangkok and reveals the different paths to discovering one’s true identity.
