Plot Summary:A year after her first communion, Andrea instructs her cousin to edit the recordings of the event according to her aesthetic preferences. Additionally, Andrea looks back on the day of that religious ritual and is impelled to reflect upon what it means in her life. As such, the film investigates the hybrid and contradictory nature between ancient beliefs and the contemporary universe of children, with the charisma, spontaneity, and sincerity of a character who posits an important and fundamental question: Does God exist?
Andrea’s communion takes place in a small Galician church, according to ancient traditions. Fortunately, with her filmmaker cousin and the help of some technical tools, the little girl takes matters into her own hands. Together, they hijack the family film, turning it into an unexpected and funny object.
