Plot Summary:Two contrasting childhoods in a country shaped by Buddhism. At seven, William is something of a celebrity. Since his entertaining appearances in a reality show in which children follow in Buddha's footsteps, this likeable boy has acquired quite a fan club.
Inspired by an old teacher, seven-year-old Thai-American William wants to be a monk. Eleven-year-old Bundit hails from a minority hill tribe, and was forced to spend his entire life at a provincial temple. From radically different backgrounds, the two look to find themselves through Buddhism.
