Plot Summary:The industrial city of Brindisi is the setting for this film, the tension between the bright promises of the industrial world and the not-so-bright reality of a young worker, in one of Mangini's most emblematic works.
Tommaso is the arrival of industrial production on a large scale as seen by the eyes of a naive boy blinded by promises of wealth, who dreams of becoming a worker in the Monteshell petrochemical factory, recently opened in Brindisi.
