夫の俊也から一方的な別れを告げられた由希子は、離婚後、娘の幸、息子の蒼空とアパートでの新生活を始める。学歴や職歴もない由希子は、医療資格受験の勉強をしながら長時間のパートをし、2児を養うことになる。しかし、経済的なこともあり、友人からの誘いで夜の仕事を始めるが、帰宅が深夜になる事が増え、家事や育児が疎かになっていくのだった…。
