Plot Summary:The story of the stove that meets the need of a settled person to light a fire and thus to heat and cook. The historical development of the stove, antique stoves and stove masters. Types of stoves used from village houses to Ottoman palaces. Stove trade and production phases are discussed. The stove has a big place in the memories of everyone a little over middle age. Most of the children growing up in the city have never even seen a stove in their lives. However, the stove is still an important and indispensable part of life all over Anatolia. A century ago stoves used to be in the corner of even palaces, today the stove has completely changed its class. The speeches witnessed by the stoves in silence are no longer important nationwide decisions, but conversations about the basic conditions of existence, bread money.
