Plot Summary:In a sleepy village of Brandenburg (near Berlin), bachelor Horst Krause lives a quite life with his sister as constable and farmer, nothing more exciting or erratic then dreamer . When adventurous sailor Albert arrives to inquire about an artist he knew from the sole passage of a traveling circus, Horst suspects it may be her and his son. That turns out true and the men get along, but it's hard to fit in their own life, or just the kick it needed.
