In 1985, the infamous "patty wars" took the city of Toronto by storm when vendors refused to change the name of Jamaican patties. Interviews with the manager of Kensington Market's Patty Palace, archival footage and comedic reenactments are used to tell a story of bureaucracy gone wild, community resistance and a beloved snack.
