Plot Summary:Fresh law department graduates, three guys and one girl, start their internship at a regular local Police Department headed by Captain Remizov, a cynical police investigator known for keeping his employees under uncompromised control, just like in the turbulent nineties. He takes the lead of the four young graduates distributed to his department: Zhenya Davydov, an unflinching and honest guy, but ready to deceive to succeed at his on-the-job training; Nikolai Berg, a witty, cunning and thrifty person who does not plan to start a police career but seeks practice to become a legal attorney; Belousova, a girl who had a personal motive to be supervised by Remezov; Ziya Iskanderov, an Uyghur guy for whom police service means a status, decent salary and respect of his numerous relatives who run to him in case of any smallest doubt. The protagonists are about to make discoveries concerning the unknown aspects of police work, and an acute generation conflict. However, this is the practice everyone will benefit from.
