Plot Summary:The film is situated in the time when Mary Shelley wrote her novel "Frankenstein". It describes the relationship between Lord Byron, Percy and Mary Shelley during various voyages through different European countries in that period. Although Frankenstein is just an invention strange things happen to the people Mary does not like.
两个英国诗人—玛丽•雪莱和拜伦—因种种因素离开了英国。旅途中玛丽想起了认识丈夫、与他坠入情网并最终随他而去的过程。同时她也回忆起与拜伦的相识……但她尤其无法忘怀1816年11月的那个夜晚，那个与众文人相聚互诉恐怖故事的夜晚，那个诞生了著名科学怪人“弗兰肯斯坦”的夜晚……
