Plot Summary:80 years ago, Seediq people living in the mountains of Taiwan organized an uprising against the Japanese colonial rulers: the rebellion known as the "Wushe Incident". In this documentary, the descendants of the Wushe survivors talk about that history from their point of view, and lead us to the places where the tragedies took place.
悲伤了很久很久，泪水流得很长很长，长到汇聚成一股清流，蜿蜒围绕，保护着河流中央的川中岛。那里休憩许多疲惫灵魂，等待伤口癒合的一天。八十年后，雾社事件遗族重返过去祖先奔跑的土地。高山绵延、水鹿追逐，遥远神秘的深处，Pusu Qhuni仍矗立着。传说中，它是具半石半木、高耸入云的巨岩，也是赛德克族起源之处。 被日人强迫迁徒的抗日余生，失去摰亲，远离家园，生命被监看限制，最后只能噤声以求自保。他们压抑悲苦，只求孩子努力念书，于是清流部落成为今天教育程度最高、公务人员最密集的原住民部落。八十年的故事很长，愿意开口娓娓述说的历程也很长。今日终得逐一拜访“余生”遗族，倾听他们的故事；也得以前往幽远高山之中，尚飨发源地——Pusu Qhuni。
