Plot Summary:Anthology of four gay-themed stories of diverse natures and development - an outline, a thriller, an interlude and an idea. In 'Bugcrush': Sex, danger, fascination and uncertainty draw small town gay high schooler Ben toward mysterious newcomer Grant. Inch-worming his way closer, Ben succeeds in gaining passage into Grant's rough-edged and foreboding inner circle for an experience he hardly could've imagined. In 'Doorman': A front desk manager has a highly uneven intimate encounter with a jaded hotel guest. In 'Davey & Stu': Two Scottish boys meet near a bog to enjoy each other's company. In 'Heartland": A non-native New York collegian heads back to his family's Iowa farm where he's needed but where his heart does not reside.
