Plot Summary:Avi Mograbi's family has lived between the 3 countries of Lebanon, Palestine and Israel for generations and witnessed the strife since the founding of the State of Israel. Mograbi researches the Arab side of his family, seeking a new approach to life in the Middle East.
A dream about the possibility of meeting his grandfather in front of their house in Damascus in 1920 leads Avi Mograbi into a collaboration with his Arabic teacher, Ali al-Azhari, an internal refugee who has lived most of his adult life in Tel Aviv with his Jewish wife and daughter Yasmin.
