第88届奥斯卡于北京时间2月29日上午揭晓本届获奖结果，《聚焦》击败《荒野猎人》《大空头》拿下了最佳影片；《荒野猎人》小李子奥终于如愿拿到奥斯卡影帝；影后由《房间》里的布丽·拉尔森收获；亚利桑德罗·冈萨雷斯·伊纳里多凭借《荒野猎人》继去年《鸟人》后再度收获最佳导演奖，也 是奥斯卡历史上第三位完成该奖项背靠背的导演；《头脑特工队》和《艾米》无悬念分享最佳动画长片和最佳纪录长片；《疯狂的麦克斯4》则拿到最佳剪辑、音效等6项技术大奖获奖最多，可惜最佳视觉效果爆冷败给了《机械姬》。

The ceremony will be televised in the United States by ABC, and will be produced by David Hill and Reginald Hudlin. Actor Chris Rock will host the show for the second time, having previously hosted the 77th ceremony held in 2005.
