剧情介绍
1941年，日本军队快速占领了英国统治下的马来亚。男人们被抓去做苦力，但却没有地方安置妇女和儿童。本片从其中一个英国女护士的视角讲述了这个故事，她遇见了一个澳大利亚士兵，他从苦力营里面偷食物给她。战争结束后，她去了澳大利亚那个士兵家乡的小镇并在那住了下来……In 1941, The advancing Japanese army captures a lot of British territory very quickly. The men are sent off to labor camps, but they have no plan on what to do with the women and children of the British. A group is sent on a forced march from place to place searching for a Women's Camp. Told from the point of view of one of the women, she meets an Australian soldier who sneaks food for them from his labor camp. After the war, she goes to Australia to see the town he was from and hopefully reunite with the soldier.
